PASIG - The Ministry of Liturgical Affairs has lined up the following renewal programs, liturgical conferences, and Advent recollection this November 2014. The activities are scheduled as follows:
Renewal programs for Lectors and Commentators and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) on Saturday, November 15 at St. Paul College Convention Hall from 7 AM to 12 noon and 1 to 5:30 PM, respectively. Participants are to be duly endorsed by the Parish Priest pending attendance at mandatory formation programs in their parishes if there are any; otherwise, they will not be recommended for renewal;
The Liturgical Conference on the seasons of Advent and Christmas scheduled on November 22 from 8 AM till 12 noon at the San Felipe Hall, Immaculate Conception Cathedral Formation Center, Pasig City. Seven delegates from each parish who are requested to participate consist of the Worship Ministry Coordinator and the respective Chairpersons of the following sub-ministries: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Greeters and Collectors, Altar Servers, MBG, and Music Ministry.
Meanwhile, there has been a change of schedule of the Diocesan Advent Recollection from December 6 to November 29, Saturday, 7 AM - 12 Noon at the Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish. Fifty participants per parish are requested to attend.
The Liturgical Affairs Ministry reminds the renewing liturgical ministers of the "no renewal, no service" policy of the diocese. (Report by Fr. Jopson)
